Integrity and Trust

As an anti-cheating measure and to uphold the integrity and trust of the IELTS exam, each test taker will be asked to provide a photo and finger scan taken before the test.

We use finger scans to verify your registration details or after returning from exiting the test room during the test.  We securely store finger scans as a binary code (a series of numbers) known as a Binary Large Object, or BLOB.  This means that no image of your finger scan is taken or stored at any time, and the biometric data is kept encrypted and secured in accordance with privacy legislation.  Please see here for details or contact us with any question you may have.

Candidate Feedback

If you have a problem during your test: Report any problems on test day and before you leave the test centre.  IELTS candidate feedback forms are available from the IELTS test centre office.

If you would like to give feedback about your customer experience: Please contact us by email, stating the details of your test location, date, and any other details you would like to provide.

Note that any complaints submitted after you leave the test centre will only be considered for future improvements, and cannot influence your test scores.
